What is Athletes’ Performance
Since 1999, Athletes’ Performance has been using its unique methodology to provide physical performance training to those aspiring to reach their peak potential on and off the field of play—at all levels. Each year, the finest integrated methods in movement training, nutrition, and physical therapy have been used to prepare World Series, Super Bowl and Olympic champions — not to mention your everyday competitive high school athlete and your “Average Joe”. At Athletes’ Performance, our Core Fundamentals of Mindset, Movement, Nutrition, and Recovery are collectively applied to enhance all of our clients’ quality of life.
Let’s take an in-depth look at Athletes’ Performance Core Fundamentals:
Mindset – Having the dedication and desire to commit to a healthier lifestyle. Athletes’ Performance will help clients work through their unique performance needs, such as the demands of daily life, unexpected challenges that arise, and mental transitions one must make.
Movement – Although everyone’s daily physical demands differ from those of a professional athlete, all of our bodies still require mobility, stability, strength, and energy to be efficient. Our movement programs have been designed to produce the greatest results in the least amount of time allowing our bodies to become stronger, more sustainable and less susceptible to injury and illness.
Nutrition – This can be a secret weapon for anyone who is committed to making a conscious change in eating habits. Your body’s ability to sustain itself through the rigors of an intense workout is largely dependent upon the “fuel” that you put into it. Your body’s ability to maintain mental wellness and productivity is also essential and has a strong correlation related directly to one’s diet.
Recovery – Proper recovery is one of the most crucial elements in order to achieve sustainable success. Recovery helps with the physical, emotional, and mental strain one puts on their body during physical exercise. Some good recovery examples include massage therapy, foam rolling and aquatics.
Athletes’ Performance incorporates each of these core fundamentals in our College Prep Program which is geared specifically toward the high school athlete.
Athletes’ Performance also offers programs for adults. In our High Performers Program, we offer you the opportunity to experience the same high level training designed to meet your specific needs and goals. Through these programs, our “experienced” athletes are educated on how and why the effects of their training will have a positive effect on their daily tasks. You will also receive a personalized dietary plan designed to strategically improve your eating habits. Modifying one’s eating habits will maximize an individual’s energy level while helping achieve one’s body composition and overall health goals.
